Crunchbase is a Web 2.0 profile dedicated to helping those in the world of cutting edge technology, venture capital, and related industries get information about themselves out there. I recently created my own Crunchbase profile and was thoroughly surprised by the amount of awesome features that it had along with how well it actually ranked in my search results!

Utilizing Crunchbase to Show Up High

Only about two weeks after I made this profile it began to show up on my first page of search results. I put in a lot of time making sure that the profile was filled out as completely as possible, but still I didn’t end up using all of the features that it had to offer. For instance, today I just realized that Crunchbase has the ability to add videos to the profile as well. Luckily, one of my most recent online endeavors has been to create a beautiful video about my family and I so this was very easy to add to my Crunchbase profile. One of the (small) downsides regarding Crunchbase is the fact that all new content on it requires an editor to approve it. Luckily, the editors seem to act very quickly and don’t really give anyone much trouble trying to edit their profiles.

Once my video goes up I’m sure that my profile on Crunchbase will look 1000x better. Right now it shows up around number 6 when someone performs a Google search for “Bevans Branham” but I’m confident that with my new and improved update this will shoot up to the top of results!
