A beautiful stone crafted faucet with water flowing from what looks like a bud, nipple or hill-like protrusion. It is seemingly hand carved with a rose pattern.

You will come to understand
lust, my Dear, as I have

With an inflamed heart
and orifices on fire

Longing to be cooled
by my fresh Virya*

While we feast on each other’s flesh
and I savor your Amrita*

Your intimate Fountain of Youth
which ancient Greeks called Νέκταρ

  • Note: Amrita and Virya (not to be confused with Tolkien’s Elven Ring Vilya) are Sanskrit words for… I’m sure you got that. Some comparative religion studies have linked Amrita to Νέκταρ, the drink of the 12 Olympian Gods. As for their divine food Αμβροσία, which per legend could turn any mortal into a God, I leave that for another story or poem.
