We Clutter Our Lives By Wasting Money On These Four “Must-Have” Items
A cluttered home is a cluttered mind
I’m in the process of cleaning out my closet and the number of clothes I no longer wear is astounding especially since I recently packed up a bag to donate.
With a new baby on the way, my goal is to get rid of stuff we don’t need or don’t provide value. Our house right now is the perfect size for us but with another human being, I predict it’s going to feel pretty crowded very quickly especially with all the unnecessary items we have lying around. Small purchases can quickly add up and I’ve realized that my house is cluttered (and money wasted) with these seemingly must-have items.
Books
Books are an invaluable resource. They give us access to life and the world around us. As much as I love books, I don’t want my house to be filled with them, at least not anymore. I’ve purchased hundreds of books over the years and I’m ashamed to say that a lot of them remain at my parents’ house, still in mint condition. I have a few books that I love and always pick up at least once a year but most of them have only been read once.
