Beyond Lucid Technologies Receives Business Recognition Award from the City of Concord, California
Mayor Edi Birsan praises local technology company for creating “a technology that helps first responders connect with the information out there, and with each other.”

CONCORD, CA (May 10, 2018): Beyond Lucid Technologies (www.beyondlucid.com), an award-winning health-and-safety technology firm that connects emergency responders and medical transportation providers with the care facilities they serve — even prior to patient arrival —was honored with a Business Recognition Award from the Mayor and City Council of Concord, California, where the company has been headquartered since moving here from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2010. Concord is the largest city in Contra Costa County and the 47th largest city in California.
Beyond Lucid Technologies was founded in 2009 while Jonathon Feit and Christian Witt attended Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business.
According to Mayor Edi Birsan, who presented the award, the company “participated in a contest over the entire East Bay” —namely, the 2018 East Bay Innovation Awards, where Beyond Lucid Technologies placed second in the IT & Communications Category — which the Mayor described as “something astounding for something that started in a garage.”
In remarks following receipt of the award, Jonathon Feit, Co-Founder & Chief Executive of Beyond Lucid Technologies, said: “It’s really been a pleasure and an honor building our business here.
