FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WILEY FORD, WV and CONCORD, CA (AUGUST 29, 2018): Beyond Lucid Technologies (BLT), an award-winning health-and safety technology firm is proud to announce that its MEDIVIEW electronic patient care record (ePCR) and Prehospital Health Information Exchange (HIE) is the first — and still the only — prehospital software to achieve compliance with data requirements established by the State of West Virginia. It is also the first and only software that complies with the data requirements for all states served by the data repository provided by the EMS Performance Improvement Center (EMSPIC), including both North and South Carolina. An image attesting to our uniquely comprehensive achievement can be seen below (captured 8/28/2018).

The first agency in the state of West Virginia to comply with version 3.3.4 of the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS) data standard was the Wiley Ford Volunteer Fire Company.

According to Chris Witt, Co-Founder, President and CTO of Beyond Lucid Technologies: “BLT’s engineers have a reputation for excellence in innovation, not only in the quality of what we deliver to the market, but in the speed with which we do so. Unlike some competitors, we feel it is NOT our job to tell Fire and EMS agencies, or their regulators, what technology to deploy. Ultimately our job is to ensure that our partner-clients are on the cutting edge of interoperability and data quality within their states, whatever they require. We’re proud that Wiley Ford VFD jumped through West Virginia’s hoops alongside us, just as we were proud of our partners-clients who set the bar high in South Carolina, North Dakota, Connecticut, California, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Minnesota — everywhere that MEDIVIEW has been first.”

According to Bill Lindsay, EMS Chief of the Wiley Ford Volunteer Fire Company: “We are a small department but we strive to be the best in the state, and to be leaders in the prehospital field. We couldn’t do that without Beyond Lucid Technologies. We are all one team helping each other out!”
