Living in a world, where information is thrown at us daily, it is hard to distinguish what is useful and what is just data garbage. Oftentimes we dismiss valuable data as just white noise and let it pass us without a second thought. So, having a place where to store the information and process it, can be a game changer in a hectic life.

We tend to forget information we haven’t used in a long period of time. That is because the human brain isn’t too effective with storing information over long term. So it is better to create a second one. You probably already heard the term ‘The Second Brain’ by Tiago Forte. He is what some might call a productivity guru, although I just like to call him a professional, because his methods really work. In this blog I don’t want to write about the principles and methods he promotes, but rather discuss the framework, which makes a second brain.

To understand what makes a second brain, we can look at our own biological brain.
