As I mentioned in yesterday’s blog, I switched from a Logitech K380 to a Keychron K6.

In this blog, I want to go over the reasons why I chose the K6 and what you can expect if you buy one for yourself.

Since I earned some good money for the past two months on Medium, and I am now writing much more, I thought it was time to upgrade my main device to get those blogs done — which is the keyboard. Being on the Mac for 99 % of my on-screen time, I really wanted a mechanical keyboard with a Mac layout. After hours of research, Keychron was my only option with a German ISO layout.

Let’s begin with a look into the package:

What Is in the Package?

In the package is the keyboard itself — obviously. It is nicely protected inside a thin matte foil and surrounded by soft foam.

Additionally, you will find a tool to remove the keycaps. It is nothing out of the ordinary but gets the job done.
