Although the 2022 Oklahoma City Dodgers narrowly missed the playoffs, they were still unquestionably one of the best teams in all of Triple-A. The team finished with an 84–66 record and held at least a share of first place for 111 days. Throughout the course of the season, it seemed like we were looking through the record books at least a few times per week based on something the team or an individual player accomplished.

Below is a collection of some of the most notable of those feats. I imagine as we continue to progress through the offseason and update the team record books and media guide, there will be some additional items uncovered.

TEAM NOTES

  • 84 Wins — Second-most in Bricktown era (since 1998)
  • 949 Runs Scored — Team record (second in Minors)
  • +156 run differential — Team record and best in PCL
  • 731 Walks — Team record and most by any Triple-A team since 2004 (led Minors)
  • .370 OBP — Team record and best in Triple-A

James Outman

  • Hit team’s first cycle since 2011 Aug. 26 vs. El Paso and then incredibly did it again four days later Aug. 30 at Round Rock!

It’s a robust list, and as mentioned before, we may very well find some others during the offseason.

Next week we’ll continue our look back at the 2022 season with a list of the most memorable moments and games.
