With only the Triple-A National Championship Game at Las Vegas Ballpark remaining on the 2023 baseball schedule, Oklahoma City Dodgers Manager Travis Barbary and several Dodgers players took time to discuss Oklahoma City’s Pacific Coast League Championship.

Hear from Barbary, Michael Busch, Gavin Stone, Wander Suero, Miguel Vargas, Ryan Ward and Justin Yurchak in the video below.

The Dodgers swept the Round Rock Express in the best-of-three PCL Championship Series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark during the final week of September to win Oklahoma City’s first league title since 1996. The Dodgers won Game 1, 8–3, before winning Game 2, 5–2

The Dodgers went 90–58 during the regular season and compiled the most wins for an Oklahoma City team in a single season during the Bricktown era (since 1998). Their 90 wins were the second-most in Oklahoma City’s Triple-A history (since 1962) behind only the 1965 89ers (91–54).

The Dodgers finished the 2023 season in first place in the overall PCL standings after winning the PCL first-half title in June.

Oklahoma City went on to make its first appearance in a Triple-A National Championship Game Sept. 30. The Dodgers put together a four-run rally with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but Norfolk held on to edge the Dodgers, 7–6, at Las Vegas Ballpark.
