If you thought she was bold and unapologetic in Bridgerton, just wait until you see her in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. To add to the excitement, Netflix has just released some sizzling new photos of the upcoming show.
Queen Charlotte, played by the fabulous Golda Rosheuvel, is not one to shy away from the spotlight. She knows that her enviable outfits and commanding presence belong front and center. But in this new series created by the one and only Shonda Rhimes, Queen Charlotte is about to get the royal treatment as we’ve yet to experience.
In the recently released trailer, young Queen Charlotte, played by the talented India Amarteifio, declares, “This [palace] is my home. I am the queen.” And boy, does she mean it! Get ready to see her ascend the throne and embark on a romance that will forever change the Bridgerton world. I don’t think that we’re ready for what’s to come even though we have gotten used to falling for the Bridgerton fantasy and uniquely unrealistic universe.
