What do you do when everything you planned gets turned upside down?

I have had 10 major life events in the last five years. I have learned to pause, breathe and observe.

Breathe in, hold two seconds, breathe out. Then… as you breathe you notice your in breath and out breath. You notice the belly rise and fall.

Breathe in and out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. Your body relaxes as you continue. Breathe in, hold two seconds, breathe out. In and out.

Then you realize your breathing is a metaphor for the rise and fall of the seasons. The rise of the sun in the morning and the fall of sun every evening. The rise and fall of the oceans. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. The rise and fall of relationships. Breathe in and out. In and out. The rise and fall of what is new. In and out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out.

Everything in life is impermanent.

Breathe in, hold, breathe out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. What is new becomes old as our cells die and are replaced by the rising new. The old making way for the new. Divine intelligence the unfolding perfection. In and out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. The rise and fall of everything. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. In and out.

There is a cycle to all things.

New and old, in and out, rise and fall, alive and not alive, peace and not peace. This is the natural order of everything. We have simply forgotten the way things are. In and out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out.

The chaos of life is simply the natural rise and fall of the Divine unfolding of the way things are. Or shall we deny reality by chasing painful emotions and feelings, chasing the way we think things should be. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. In and out.

Every moment you choose the path of the way things are OR the way they are not.

When you wish for something to be other than it is, you wish for the impossible. Each thing is as it should be and as it can only be, by Divine design. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. In and out. To ignore the way things are… only delays the inevitable pain of the unfolding of desires unfulfilled.

As you deny the way things are, you deny reality and conjure up images of your own desires. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. When you deny the way things are you are setting yourself up against the natural order and Devine design. Breathe in, hold, breathe out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out.

When desire becomes hardened in the mind, one becomes sick with yearnings.

Breathe in, hold, breathe out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out.

Distracted by wishes, dreams and longings absent of intent within the present moment.

Breathe in, hold, breathe out. Breathe in, hold, breathe out.
