Fort Collins is a city known for food and lifestyle. Many restaurants have even been featured on national TV. For the foodie who’s tired of the same old spots, here are a few you might not have heard of.

1) Bindle Coffee

Bindle Coffee is located just off Timberline and Prospect, right behind Jessup Farm. Its “rustic warehouse” look fits perfectly with the vibe owners Andrew and Jenn Webb want to create. Their motto, “Sit & Savor” urges people to breathe, relax and enjoy the simple things. With coffee through Direct Trade Relationships and pastries handmade by Jenn, everything at Bindle is handmade and wholesome.

2) The Farmhouse at Jessup Farm

The Farmhouse at Jessup Farm is a “rustic-modern” restaurant focusing on farm-to-table food and original cocktails. Located near Prospect and Timberline, The Farmhouse’s executive chef, Joel Navejas, puts modern twists on classic comfort foods to create an authentic dining experience from start to finish.

3) Charco Broiler

Charco Broiler has been serving up American classics since 1957. Starting as a coffee and burger joint, the McGarvey family continues to provide Fort Collins with fresh local food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their menu even features a very large gluten-free menu, something unique to most steakhouses. Parked near Mulberry and Lemay, Charco Broiler prides themselves on their long-term employees and loyal customers.

The Mishawaka Amphitheatre and restaurant opened way back in 1919, right on the Poudre River. The dance hall turned Amphitheatre hosts concerts, weddings and private events, providing a scenic background and delicious food. Sandwiches, burgers and desserts adorn this classic menu, creating an all-around exciting dining experience.

5) Choice City Butcher and Deli

Choice City Butcher and Deli is a full-service butcher offering everything from beef to ostrich. Their craft beer list award-winning and they pride themselves on going above and beyond what is expected of a typical butcher shop. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available, featuring their hand-cut meats in nearly every dish. Located on Olive and College, this hidden gem is easily accessible and perfect for meat-lovers.
