Behind the Lens — A Photo Story

Photography is one-sided — we see from the perspective of the one taking those photos. But what goes on outside of that?
Kevin Olson, a photographer in Fort Collins, often spends his down time scouring the town and the surrounding areas with his camera and his trusty crew of friends. On a Friday afternoon, I joined him and two other photographers—John Holtzman and McKenzie Coyle. Old Town Fort Collins offers great areas for photography and creativity, but instead, we drove east across I-25 in a spirit of adventure, and ended up searching through an abandoned property resembling something out of a William Faulkner novel.
