Choosing a gym can be a daunting task. You need to think about the gym’s location, price, equipment options, and class offerings while also trying to match those things up with your own personal goals and interests. If you’re struggling to find that perfect gym to commit to, and don’t want to spend hours researching then you’re in the right place. So, if you’re ready to lift, kick, climb, jump, or just sweat up a storm, lets get to it!

The All-Purpose Gym: 24 Hour Fitness

It makes sense to start the list with the one-stop-shop gym, right? 24 Hour Fitness is the perfect gym for those who want a nice blend of weight lifting, cardio machines, classes, and a great spa area to relax. There are all types of people at 24 ranging from serious lifters to newbies, so you’ll fit right in. With two locations in town and a reasonable $42 a month membership, this is a great gym option!

The Recreation Center: The Fort Collins Club

Everyone loves a good rec center. They’re One of the few places you can play basketball or racquetball then hit the weights and cool off with a dip in the pool. The Fort Collins Club is a great place for those who want a more rounded gym experience. This place has different classes and clubs and it even has a bar section where you can replenish after a great workout!

Modern Feel: Raintree Health Club

Raintree is a hip and modern gym with a gorgeous look that makes you feel like you’re at a spa. Unique equipment and a bright atmosphere make Raintree the choice if you want to feel fancy while working out. What makes this guy so cool aside from the amazing atmosphere is the variety of membership options. With student, family and military deals, or just family and individual memberships, Raintree is bound to have a perfect plan for you.

Hardcore Lifting: Prodigy Gym

If you consider yourself a bodybuilder the list ends here for you. Prodigy is the crème de la crème of bodybuilding gyms. With a passionate and dedicated owner who is a bodybuilder himself, this gym is packed with the best equipment to push you past the competition and win favor with the judges. This gym isn’t for the faint of heart, and you had better be there to lift and not to mess around. If you’re competing or have dreams to look like Arnold, don’t waste anymore time and get into Prodigy.

Rock Climbing: Whetstone Climbing

We’re in Colorado, so naturally there are those who want to get there climb on. There are no better options for climbing than Whetstone Climbing. With their diverse option of membership plans (including discounted student rates), fun events and a youth club for the kiddos, this place rocks (sorry, I had to).
