Fort Collins isn’t known for residents who wear Wranglers and boots, which means its night life doesn’t offer a plethora of places for two-stepping to country’s music greatest hits. Even though they aren’t considered down-home, here are the places where you can experience what Fort Collins has to offer to those who have country roots and cowboy boots.

1. Sundance Steakhouse & Saloon

With a large wooden dance floor, Sundance welcomes dancing on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so don’t leave home without your boots! “Wild West Tuesday” is 18 and over all night. Sundance has events and specials every night of the week–live music, off-track betting, $5 dance lessons and lunch, dinner and drinks!

2. Lucky Joe’s Sidewalk Saloon

A mix between an Irish pub and an Old West saloon, Lucky Joe’s has a “no cover ever” policy. Lucky Joe’s offers Irish and American food and a list of whiskey, draft beer, and cocktails. Daily specials include $3.50 Guinness Pints on Tuesday, $3 Pints & $3 Bombs on Thursday and $4 Jameson on Friday. Live music is played Wednesday-Sunday nights and peanut shells can cover the floor any night.

3. The Boot Grill and Comedy Club

As of February 1st The Boot Grill added Comedy Club to their name. The Boot Grill offers wings, wraps, burgers and a roof deck bar with a view. Tuesdays are for Blues music and $3-$6 tacos, Wednesdays are for the ladies, Friday and Saturdays are for comedy. The Boot Grill also streams any CSU sporting event you want to see.

If you want to hear live country music, The Boot Grill in Loveland (4164 Clydesdale Pkwy) features “New from Nashville” concerts.

4. Trailhead Tavern

Happy hour happens every day at Trailhead from 11am-7pm where beer on tap, craft beer and $2 Pabst Blue Ribbon is offered. Besides the drinks, Trailhead has a lunch and dinner menu. Some of their nightly specials include 2 for 1 Burgers on Tuesday, “Geeks Who Drink” trivia on Wednesday, $2.50 Jagermeister on Friday and $4 pint of domestic beer and bratwurst. Trailhead also caters to those who love MLB, NHL, NFL and college football.

5. Steak-out Saloon

Known as a “dive” bar with a basement, Steak-out, offers 19 craft brews and 3 domestic draft beers. Their menu is filled with a variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads and goodie baskets. Steak-out also has TVs for sports, pool tables, air hockey and shuffle board.
