Pizza. One of my favorite mid night snacks. Whether you like it to go or enjoy it at the restaurant Fort Collins has plenty of options. Almost too many options, from big chains, to smaller ones that span across Colorado, to local ones that get started in Fort Collins, we have it all. While its great to have so many options its hard to deiced on what to chose. This list will guide you through five of Fort Collins local and regional restaurants and hopefully some insight on which pizza place to chose next time you’re out. Whether its at mid night or the afternoon you need to try these five unique and different places.

5. Slyce

This Pizza place is on 153 W. Mountain Ave. This Old town pizza joint opened in 2014 and is locally owned by three friends who met in college. Slyce has more to offer than just pizza; they have beer, brownies and salads. Apart from their menu what makes Slyce really special is their monthly pizza. Each month they come up with a new specialty pizza that fits the theme of that month. For example, January’s pizza is Penne a la Vodka which fits their theme of starting off the year right with a drunken pizza. Slyce is a great choice because if you go at least once a month you will get a brand new pizza that perfectly fits the theme of the month. Slyce will have delivery soon and is open to till 3 am on weekends which is perfect for my late night snack.

4. Beau Jos

This pizza place is off of 205 N College Ave. While they started in Idaho Springs, Beau Jos opened their doors to Fort Collins in 2014 as well bringing to life a certain type of pizza known as Colorado style. This style includes honey instead of sugar to sweeten their dough, thus creating a Colorado style pizza. The also have a wide selection of other foods such as wings, sandwiches and salads. However they are only open till 9 and don’t deliverer, they do offer a unique style to pizza that no one else does. While they wont be open late enough for my mid night snack their Colorado style pizza is worth going early.

3. Totally 80’s Pizza

Totally 80’s Pizza is located on 717 S College Ave. It’s the last pizza place on this list to be opened in 2014 and if you couldn't guess by the name it’s 100% 80’s themed. From old pictures, old arcade games, disco balls, constant 80’s music,a life sized Micheal Jackson statue, and Han solo frozen in carbonate, this place has it all. It took the owner 10 years to track down all of this original memorabilia. If you’re looking for some good pizza and some 80’s nostalgia, you have come to the right place. They even have Odell brewing beer on tap as well as great sides. Aside from 80’s music pizza, beer, and sides they even deliver. Totally 80’s gives a great atmosphere, that no one else has, its the only museum you can eat in. While they are only open till 9 I highly recommend this blast from the past.

2. Krazy Karl’s

Krazy Karl's opened up in 2010 and has two locations one on 1124 W. Elizabeth St, and 2620 S. Timberline Rd. This West and South side pizza joint has great pizza and a great specialty menu like their famous “Jalapeno Popper” and everyone's favorite cream cheese pizza. While they aren’t the only joint that puts cream cheese or jalapenos on their pizza they are certainly know for it. They even got a five star rating for their pizza by Feasting in Fort Collins. Along with pizza they also offer penalty of beer and other sides to keep you eating. They also have fun weekly special like beat the clock Monday. From 5–8 the time you call in is the amount you pay for a one topping large pizza, and this is only the one for Monday. The best part yet of course is the fact that they do deliver and are open till 3 am making them another great spot for that midnight snack.

1. Pizza Casbah

Our last local fort Collins pizza place is Pizza Casabah located on 126 W Laurel St. This classic has been open since 1999 and features a wide variety of styles but draws is main influence form New Yorks Long Island style pizza, because it reminded the owner Deano of home. Along with this great history and style they also offer, a wide arrange of special that are mostly New York themed like “the Godfather” or “The Bronx.” Along with this pizza they even have a Odell happy hour from 4–6. While they don’t deliver they are open till 2 am which is again perfect for all of your late night snacks.
