Fort Collins, Colorado is home to tons of natural climbing areas from Rotary Park to Lory State Park and up into the Poudre Valley. Climbers who live here enjoy many fun and creative routes and whoever makes them gets to name them. When you have a bunch of crazy, creative people sending first ascents and owning naming rights, you get some predictably funny names.

5. Cheerleaders Gone Hippie

This sport climb is rated 5.9+ on the Poudre Face in The Palace. A single pitch begins with lots of slopers and ends with a crux which might explain its name. An off-width style crack that you may have throw a hip in.

4. Inyerbuttkwa

A 5.10c sport climb up the Poudre in the South West Alcove of the Chrystal Wall, Inyerbuttkwa was dubbed as such back in 2007. The route has good to juggy holds all the way the through to the slabby crux at the top. Helmets are recommended for this one as a few features are proclaimed insecure.

3. Pinklebear

As fun as this one sounds it is a beast of a 5.12c sport climb. Located on the Upper Echelon Wall in the Triple Tier Area, Pinklebear is difficult throughout, but a crux of very crimpy holds near the top will command your respect.

2. The Nipple Wall

This climb is a bouldering route at Rotary Park in the Horsetooth Resevoir area. Hilariously named the nipple wall after a couple of pinch holds before the top, this is a balance climb with crimps and slopey features rated at V3.

  1. The Radical Mastectamy

The Nipple Wall is the gift that keeps on giving as from it we get The Radical Mastectamy. Cleverly named, this route is the same as Nipple Wall but without the nipples, increasing the difficulty from V3 to V4/5. The climb is a decently high boulder so bringing crash pads and spotters is encouraged.
