With each passing year, late night Old Town Fort Collins becomes more and more crowded, and the bars of Campus West seem more and more underrated. This is a weeknight guide to eating and drinking smart in Fort Collins, for every struggling twenty-something who can’t afford to splurge on Old Town’s finest.

Sunday: Half Off @ CB & Potts

Every Sunday night from 9 pm to midnight, all checks are 50% off at CB & Potts. If you don’t mind the bro-supportive culture, questionable service, and loud music, this deal is hard to beat, and a great way to take the edge off before a Monday. Come and enjoy a Long Island iced tea, typical bar fare with considerable vegetarian options, and a skillet cookie for half the ticket.

Be prepared to spend $10.

Monday: $1 Tacos @ Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

Honestly, there isn’t a better way to take the edge off of a Monday than $1 tacos. From 9 pm to midnight, you can get most varieties of Fuzzy’s finest baja and breakfast tacos for one meager dollar. Fajita and shrimp tacos are an extra dollar, if you can manage to swing that. Pair this with $1 12 oz domestic beers for a fast and affordable Monday night out at this comfortable and colorful sports bar.

Be prepared to spend $3.

tip: come at 11 to skip the crowd

Tuesday: BOGO Sandwiches @ Road 34

If you’re looking for something more filling on a Tuesday night, grab a BOGO buddy and head to Road 34, an adventurous bike bar with an energetic atmosphere and great beer selection. 2-for-1 at Road is a great value with unique and well-crafted deli-style sandwiches to choose from, but be prepared to wait for your meal, as this deal brings a lot of people through the door. Road can be on the crowded side if you come early, but if you can make your way to the bar for a $3 draft, another Tuesday special, and hit the patio, it will be worth the trouble. Make it before 11, the kitchen closes earlier than the bar.

Be prepared to spend $8.

Wednesday: BOGO Burgers @ MoJeaux’s

Keep the BOGO going on Wednesday at Mojeaux’s, with 2-for-1 burgers served from 5–9 pm. Stick around after 9 for $1 pints and a live DJ, if you don’t mind a rowdy crowd.

Be prepared to spend $6.

Thursday: Discounted Hummus & Spiked Smoothies @ Yum Yum’s/Ma’s Juice Bar

From 4–6 pm, get hummus and fries from this mediterranean favorite for just $3. If you’re patient enough to wait until 8, you can head to Ma’s Juice Bar, owned by the same folks, for $4 spiked smoothies. This local duo makes for a great way to spend this thirsty Thursday.

Be prepared to spend $7.

Saturday: Bonus Pick!

If you really can’t get Old Town off your mind, make your way there on Saturday for a special at Illegal Pete’s. You can get free chips and salsa with any bar purchase, and with house margs for a slim $4, it shouldn’t be tough to pick your beverage. With a beautiful rooftop to lounge on and friendly staff, this spot should have ample room to keep the crowd feeling comfortable on a Saturday night in Old Town.

Be prepared to spend $4.
