First impressions on a first date are important. How you come across to your date can have a huge impact on whether you get a second date, and getting ready can be a stressful experience. But, if you follow these tips, you’re sure to have a great time.

  1. Find a cute person and ask them out

2. Do some research on the perfect date spot, and set up a time and place

3. Wait for the specified time to arrive

4. Once the day of the date arrives, it’s time to get ready! You should probably overcome your horrible fear of water and take a shower.

5. After your shower, do your hair, shave and do anything else you think will possibly help you look good. You’re going to need it.

6. If you have a scent you like, be sure to wear it. Just don’t go overboard. All you need is a spritz on the wrist and neck.

7. Once you’re all cleaned up, it’s time to get dressed! So take a look through your closet,

and pick something you think looks ni-

No.

8. Anyway, once you’ve found something that looks nice and suits wherever you’re going on your date, it’s time to grab your keys!

Now you’re ready to go and impress your date. Remember, direct eye contact and active listening are important. Also, probably don’t talk about that time you fit 27 grapes in your mouth.

Yeah.

Alternatively, if after all that you’re really not ready for a date, you can always stand them up and spend the evening watching Netflix and eating ice cream in a shark onesie.

It’s up to you.
