If you’re like me and can’t figure out where to go to make your Halloween the best one yet, you’ve come to the right place! Here is all things Halloween in Fort Collins and hopefully the start of all your spooky adventures.

1. Get a Costume

Whether you want to be a zombie from The Walking Dead or the Sexy Cat you’ve been for the past two years in a row is beyond me, but if you are looking for a costume, Ragstock is the place to be. Located at 228 S College, Ragstock is usually a hip clothing store in Old Town but come Halloween time, the back of the storm turns into your own DIY die hard costume shop. From tutus to metallic leggings, you’ll be sure to find the perfect outfit to spill beer on later. You could also visit Spirit Halloween but you’re not that basic!

2. Go on a Ghost Tour

When it comes to ghosts, Fort Collins has them all! From the spooks in the basement of Walrus Icecream Shop to the Armadillo Restraunt murder, you are sure to find something to fulfill your creepy tastebuds. By far the best tour, is The Fort Collins Ghost Tour in which, they take you in and out all of the creepiest places in Fort Collins and more. You also learn some history for those history buffs out there(who are probably reading history books and not this). They also have a kid friendly version, for those of you who might pee your pants or…have kids.

3.Better Yet… Go to a Haunted Attraction

If you’re looking for something more intense and most likely to give you a heart attack, visit Jack Lanterns Corn Maze. By day this place is a ray of sunshine, with pumpkin picking, bouncy castles and even farm animals to get everyone in the fall mood. This would be the best time to bring the kids, take cute couple photos or even just explore the farm. By night, it’s adults only as the goblins and monsters come out to play and the corn maze becomes a haunting like no other! This is the time to hold your loved one’s close and run! Other alternatives would be Fear of the Dark Haunted House located at Chipper Lanes (yes, the bowling alley) or my personal favorite, Scream Acres, which is just outside of Fort Collins in La Salle! Either way, these are sure to scare you out of sleeping at night!

4. Have a Spooky Night In

Lastly, if going out really isn’t your thing or you simply just want to hand out candy to the kids, here’s a list of some of the top movies you need to binge watch this Halloween:

Whatever you decide to do, from eating a pillowcase full of candy to running from a chainsaw, have a spooky, safe and Happy Halloween!

Be safe you goblins and ghouls!
