Okay, so you have decided where to attend your four years of college. Now, how do you determine where to live? The Fort Collins area offers a wide range of student housing. Students just have to determine which main aspects are most important to them: location, price, roommates, free parking?

5. Ram’s Village: Whether you like to walk to campus or take the bus, Ram’s Village offers both with it’s convenient location. Only one block away from campus you can enjoy two heated pools, two spas, a gym, a cafe, and most importantly free parking all for a lower price than most Fort Collins apartment complexes.

4. Pura Vida: Located off of Laurel Street, Pura Vida is a 30 second walk to campus. Close to the central part of campus, as well as the Oval, all students have to do is cross the street. Although the price is higher than most student housing options, the modern environment of the units can really class up your college lifestyle. Reserved parking is included!

3. Aspen Heights: Looking for a place to live close to the Old Town area? Want to have the prime pre-game spot for the bars? Aspen Heights is your go to housing development. Only a year old, Aspen Heights has the most space to offer. Although this development is about a fifteen minute drive from campus, it is about five minutes from Old Town Fort Collins. Aspen Heights provides town-homes as well as individual units with up to five bedrooms. There is little competition with Aspen Heights when it comes to students being able to have that many roommates! These mountain themed units give you the chance to furnish the home yourself or pay to have them furnish it for you.

2. A Home On Your Own: For some students, renting a home with some buddies fits all their needs. You get to pick your location, the amount of beds and baths, and basically find your ideal living space. Some agencies located near campus help students when finding their home, so don’t worry about this rent search on your own. Prices vary dependent on location and space.

1.The District at Campus West: As for the BEST place to spend your off-campus hours, The District comes in as number one! Completely furnished, all students need are some decorations and their essentials. Amenities include an outdoor living space equipped with grills, a fire pit, a pool, and even a couple hot tubs. A gym, common area, study rooms, and a computer lab are located in the lobby for the residents convenience. The District staff organizes fun events (with free food) to bring the community together and help you meet your neighbors. Not to mention the location is across the street from Moby Arena, it will only take students approximately 15 minutes to walk to campus. The District at Campus West is the most ideal location to live as a CSU student.
