The Downtown Artery: Best Music Venue in Fort Collins
There are many music venues and places to listen to live music in Fort Collins, but the best music venue by far is the Downtown Artery.
Located in the heart of Old Town at 252 Linden St., this modern music venue is unlike anything I have ever seen before. The venue itself is connected to the back side of a contemporary coffee shop which resides under an art gallery. The atmosphere of the Downtown Artery as a whole is enticing, and makes for a perfectly unique music venue.
The Downtown Artery should be number one on your list of Fort Collins music venues. It is a wonderful place for all members of the Fort Collins community and students.
A review from Amber R. stated that the Artery is “kid and dog friendly…They were playing good music too — not too loud, which is nice if you come to work on something”.
This venue also allows a variety of bands and artists to perform. The shows and concerts here are affordable or even free. Part of the Artery’s mission statement is that they “Cater to the revival of the working artist”.
There are several events that you can go to, including the upcoming Music Meeting on September 21st. The Colorado Sound team will be there playing the music you hear on station 105.5. They are also putting on an open mike night for hip hop on September 29th. Events like these really bring the community and all age groups together to experience occasions that they do not get to on a daily basis.
I absolutely love the Artery and believe that it is the best establishment and music venue in Fort Collins. I love being able to have a place for my friends and I to come together to watch multiple talents perform and celebrate the beauty of music.
