Thinking about living in an apartment in Fort Collins? You might want to take a look at these awful reviews…

5. The Habitat

Located on Raintree Dr, the Habitat’s website describes these apartments as having an “energetic yet pleasing aura.” One would hope this would hold true as rent for a two bedroom, one bath apartment here can run you over $1,300. According to this review, a watering can sprinkling on your head isn’t the most pleasant way to take a shower, and probably doesn’t meet that so-called “pleasing aura” mentioned earlier.

4. Rams Pointe

This next apartment complex is located on Elizabeth St. A less expensive option, Rams Pointe offers two, three and four bedroom apartments. The four bedroom includes two baths and rent is around $600. Community amenities include a roommate matching service, 24-hour emergency maintenance, and security. Although, this review hints that while security might not guarantee your safety, they’ll definitely guarantee a good time.

3. Stone Creek

Stone Creek apartments, on Prospect, claims that “living in Fort Collins does not get any better than this.” With scenic surroundings, “high-end luxury,” and a variety of amenities, rent will cost you over $1000 for two bedrooms. This resident recalls when “high-end luxury” might not have been the case. Better thank your mom for the carbon monoxide monitor she got you for Christmas.

2. Ramblewood

If you find yourself on Briarwood Dr, you might check out Ramblewood apartments. These apartments have amenities such as a heated swimming pool, a playground, and a fitness center. Select units have a private patio and a wood-burning fireplace. A three bedroom here will cost you around $1200 a month. Amenities aside, who you live next to can make or break your living situation. Talk about rowdy neighbors.

1. The District

Located right next to campus on Plum St, the District is a newer choice. It’s such a popular option, they even have a VIP waitlist for future residents. The District offers two, three, and four bedroom floor plans as well as a townhouse option. Rent for a four bedroom, four bathroom apartment here is around $800. Of course, there are the amenities not listed on the website, like dog poop, dried up salsa, and a pool that looks like ramen water. What more could you ask for?
