Alt-J Get Trippy On Their First Of Two Shows at Massey Hall

English indie rock band Alt-J brought their Relaxer Tour to Toronto’s Massey Hall for two nights of tripped out tunes and psyched out lights. We had the chance to be at night one of two and couldn’t be more stoked about it. I’ve had the pleasure of being at almost EVERY Alt-J show in Toronto, the only one I unfortunately missed was their last supporting 2014’s This is all yours (via Warner Music). These guys never disappoint and this Massey show was no different. In fact, they exceeded my expectations with flawless musicianship and a light show that couldn’t have been more sick. The guys stood amongst towers of light panels that were synchronized to every beat and sound the Brits omitted.

The show was flawless, jam-packed with all the hits you’d want to hear. Check out all the photos from their set below and re-discover Relaxer, it’s their newest and most overlooked album. Take the time to chill out and take it all in.
