They Gave Me the Opportunity to Find my Voice

I was exceptionally well trained to work with all kinds of personality disorders as a clinical psychologist. I worked in a specialized program at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. I trained with the best attachment researchers in the world and dealt with all kinds of personality disorders trying to heal infants and young children from abuse and trauma. I’ve worked as a child custody expert and watched narcissists continue to destroy their exes and their children. I also grew up with them and watched how their greed and toxic masculine attitude prioritized a family business over the health and well-being of family members. I also went through a horrible breakup with someone who I would only realize later was a narcissist — it fueled my passion to work in the relationship field and help others.

Early in my healing process, I was angry like you. The pain and suffering that is caused by being around these personality types is real. It is not something that should be minimized. Yet, what I had to learn through over a decade of healing work is this: As an empath and a highly intuitive woman — it is my responsibility to heal whatever subconscious thoughts there are that allowed me to put any of these people in a position of power above me.
