Bezant has secured strategic investment from Korea Prepaid Card to launch new and innovative products and services targeting the global payments market. This investment will mark the beginning of Bezant to introduce real world use-cases that will extend the capabilities of the prepaid cards products and services to incorporate blockchain-backed enhancements.

Korea Prepaid Card is market leader in Korea’s KRW 12 Trillion (US$10 Billion) prepaid card market. The Company provides integrated service solutions to “issue prepaid cards, distribute/top up, and offer payments/settlement” for diverse prepaid payment methods which include gift cards, barcode-based mobile coupons and vouchers for enterprises. The Company is the official distributor for Google Play gift cards in Korea and also provides a service called “Mobile Pop” which is an online/offline integrated easy payment service. The Company’s clients also include: Afreeca TV, Blizzard Entertainment, Daum, Emart, Homeplus, Interpark, League of Legends, Naver, Netmarble, Nexon, et al.

The partnership with Korea Prepaid Card will provide both companies the opportunity to seize the global prepaid market which is expected to increase by US$3.7 Trillion by 2022.
