Bezant Update — August 27, 2018
Hello from Bezant Team,
We’re excited to spend five days at the tenth edition of the gaming and entertainment extravaganza, Gamescom, held in Cologne, Germany from August 21–25. This spectacular event attracted around half a million visitors and more than 1,000 exhibitors to experience and showcase the latest innovations in the gaming industry. Against a backdrop of game launches, TV tie-ins and cosplay competitions, it was an ideal setting for our team to meet content creators and developers to join the Bezant community.
Gamescom serves as the central platform for the world’s largest video game industry. At the Bezant booth, we were able to exchange ideas with a number of traders, publishers and developers. Steve Tay (Foundation Representative Director), Julian Migura (Advisor), and Peter Shin (Strategist) from our team were deeply inspired by the innovation and creativity that was showcased in the entertainment area.
Our team also got the opportunity to connect with a lot of businesses — platform developers and payment related entities that want to integrate blockchain. Through these meetings the team was able to better understand their concerns and needs, and to explore their interest in developing dApps and collaborating with us.
At Gamescom, we were able to build numerous new connections, and we hope to cultivate these relationships as we move forward.
