Hello from Bezant,
Today we are very pleased to introduce our new CEO, Chanjoon Kim, of Bezant.
Chanjoon is a veteran of the game and content industry. He had previously took on many CEO roles in game development and publishing company in the field of online, mobile games. In particular, he served as the CEO of accelerating company to help domestic game developers to advance into the overseas market, leading the investment of many game companies and overseas advancement. Prior to joining Bezant, he was responsible for developing blockchain platforms as the CEO of Jehmi, the technology provider of Bezant.
As the CEO, Chanjoon Kim will focus on building a dApp ecosystem in Korea centering on a service-type blockchain platform (BaaS, Blockchain as a Service).
Steve Tay, Foundation director, said “By transforming Bezant’s structure into a two-top hierarchy system that specializes into the domestic and overseas business sectors, Bezant seeks to expand its domestic and foreign markets simultaneously with leaders of expertise in the relevant markets. We expect this structure to create a great synergy with our CCO, Daesik Kim.”
As the first official event after this appointment, Chanjoon participated as a speaker of the 2018 World Blockchain Summit “Marvels” held at Seoul Hotel Shilla on December 12–13th. The event was attended by government agencies, legislators, investors, and business stakeholders, and the prospects of the blockchain industry were shared through session-specific presentations and discussions.
At this occasion, Bezant introduced its strategy to lead the era of “Tech Renaissance” spearheaded by blockchain technology. Bezant will continue to work with partners to create practical use cases to build a sound blockchain ecosystem.
Meanwhile, Chris Lee was appointed as CEO of Jehmi Global in accordance with this new structure.
Chris is a professional executive who has led many companies to success in the game publishing, content, hardware, IT industries. He joins us with a vast range of global business experiences operation and finance. Having witnessed the growth of big and small IT startups, Chris will continue to plant his success DNA in Jehmi.
Having not only technology development rights but also exclusive business entitlements, Jehmi will continue to march together with Bezant to create a larger blockchain ecosystem for Bezant project.
