Bitcoin is history’s first immutable, decentralized, global digital ledger of records. The underlying technology, blockchain on which bitcoin runs is a revolution in structured database management. Basically a technology that is less about maintaining & monetizing databases and more about managing a system of records to create transactions of value. With BFF, our attempt is to create a platform to maintain those transactions of value with more meaningful digital relationships where interactions are not just crypto secured but it can also be monetized for and by users.
How this system of records works in the case of BFF?
Digital Identity 📱:
You can join the BFF Network with your mobile number and choose to add/ not add your user name/ profile picture. You own your information and it will never be explicitly visible to anyone else on the network. Which means, nobody can search or view your profile and see what asks on BFF you’re upto. Your identity (name and not the mobile number) is only revealed on direct messages with the people you get connected with, and you have full control to never opt-in for a conversation. Which means, there is no ‘others folder’ to control spam like on centralized messengers.
Trust Score (TS)💎💯:
You get 100 TS when you signup for the BFF App. When you ask a new question 1 ☝️ TS is deducted, and you earn 1 ☝️ TS for recommending every new contact. You can earn additional TS when the contact you recommended is helpful and you get vouched for reputation both by your contact and the one who asked this question. All this is anonymous so their’s no bias towards individuals. The trust score will be vested on a weekly basis for a period of 1 year and will be converted into BFF tokens with it’s value in ETH & BTC. The trust score serves three roles: Users own a portion of the network’s growth in return for their contacts investment, it accumulates and converts into an internal currency (bff tokens), and it’s used to ask new questions.
BFF Community 👩👦 👩👧 👩👧👦 👩👦👦 👩👧👧 👨👦 👨👧 👨👧👦 👨👦👦
Early adopters on BFF get partial ownership of the network in the form of tokens which they can use to transact, exchange, or gift to people they get connected with. The integrity of the BFF platform is built on the self-interest of community aka token owners. Owners of more tokens may have more say in the development of BFF community, new features and the direction it takes as we build it.
