Announcing BhamGiftCards.com
Today we’re very pleased to announce the launch of our new website, BhamGiftCards.com. Our goal behind this project is simple… we want you to spend your gift card dollars locally instead of buying Amazon credit or gift cards to big box stores. We have amazing local businesses in Birmingham, and with BhamGiftCards you can always buy, send, and redeem them instantly using cutting edge web and mobile technology.
All gift card purchases are instantly available, utilizing Instagift’s eGift card technology. Once a gift card is purchased, you can print out a gift receipt to hand to the lucky recipient, or send out the gift via email (don’t forget to include a thoughtful message). You can even schedule a gift to be delivered at an appropriate future date.
Currently BhamGiftCards are available for over 100 local merchants, from restaurant to retail. We also have group gift cards, available to an assortment of common merchants. Those cards are:
The Downtown Birmingham Card- Good at 30 downtown businesses like El Barrio, Faith Skate, and Cafe Dupont.
The Avondale Card- Good at most of the businesses in Avondale like Melt, Post Office Pies, and Fancy’s.
The Mountain Brook Card- Good at great Mtn. Brook businesses like La Paz, Pants Store, and Urban Cookhouse.
The Birmingham Originals Card- One card good at all the best local restaurants in Birmingham like Ocean, Hot and Hot Fish Club, and The Bright Star.
The Food Truck Card- One card, 17 food trucks and counting. Eugene’s Hot Chicken, Shindigs, Cantina, and Heavenly Donuts to name a few.
The Homewood Card- One card good at 45 of the best local Homewood businesses, like SOCA, Taco Mama, and Trak Shak.
The Craft Beer Card- One card good at all the breweries, and craft beer enthusiasts like Hop City and J. Clyde.
If you’re interested in placing a corporate order, we’ll give you a 10% discount on your purchase. We even have a heavy plastic handout for corporate gifting.
Periodically we’ll also offer discounts on our gift cards. In fact, as a launch promotion, we’re offering Buy $100 Get $20 deals on all of our group cards. Once we get closer to the holidays, look for amazing Cyber Monday offers on our site.
