A campaign to bring together the stories of the South Asian Diaspora together this Diwali Season

By Sailaja N. Joshi, CEO and Founder of Bharat Babies

Diwali is a special time when Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs from around the world come together to celebrate the conquering of Good over Evil or Light over Dark. Through prayer, family, food, and firecrackers, they all celebrate the indelible spirit of Diwali.

This year, let’s bring our celebration of Diwali around the world. #MyDiwaliStory is a campaign by South Asian mom bloggers across the globe and children’s book publisher Bharat Babies to promote authentic, pluralistic stories surrounding the festival of Diwali.

Our goal is to celebrate authentic voices in the South Asian Diaspora by sharing their favorite stories and memories of Diwali celebrations.
