A support group event initiated by Bhor Foundation

Listening to the sound of the rain rustling through the leaves can provide solace to a parched soul. Listening to that familiar voice after a spell of desolation, wandering and breaking loose can feel like a homecoming.
Listening to stories, narratives, tears, joys and most importantly, silences that resonate with our lived experiences can begin the process of a more profound and lasting healing.

Sometimes, with depression and anxiety, the instant pain relief can be an empathetic listener. Sometimes, we just need to be heard, all the voices in the head, and accepted, warts and all. At the listening circle support group meeting, we strongly feel that the individuals know the best about their unique strengths and challenges.

We hope to create a safe space for expression for people living with depression and anxiety. In the process, we hope to mutually learn from their experiences, appreciate their achievements, build communities that celebrate diversity and above all, to listen.

Date: 12 May Onwards ( Once a month- every second saturday)
