The Image and Statue of Buddha Is Like Baal to God
The man Buddha was once alive and died. By human beings, he was made an image and a god to worship. God has had mercy on people for years and years. So many people is worshiping another god. It appears that God is slowly moving his hand away to protect people. We have been doing the same thing that the people have done in Bible days. We have got to turn back to the one and only true God (Jehovah) who is the creator of this world. So many of us want God and so many of us don’t. More and more bad things are starting to happen to people. So many lives have been lost. In the Bible days, so many people worshiped a god named Baal. People were destroyed in those days.
There are plenty of verses in the Bible that proves God is against those that worship other Gods.
Deuteronomy 12:3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
Numbers 33:52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
2 Chronicles 23:17 Then all the people went to the house of Baal, and broke it down, and broke its altars and its images in pieces, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
Deuteronomy 5:1 And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
