There seems to be an epidemic of anxiety today

It seems there is just a constant, low-grade anxiety these days. Everyone is stressed and it feels like things have shifted dramatically somehow over the past 3 years starting with the COVID lock-down year and nothing but a stream of bad news since. I don’t think this is by accident. Our enemy is causing a deliberate acceleration of stress to keep us in a constant state of churn, disconnection, and numbing so our relationship with our creator or each other can’t be seen or felt. It takes a deliberate approach to counter all of this, with some methods not so obvious. What are some things we can do to get on top of this ever present anxiety?

Here are some tips based on principles found in the bible. This is not an exhaustive list, but a start. Just focus on the ones that you know would make the biggest difference in your life — not someone else’s. Pick one of these points that bothers you the most — this might be a solution for you — and do it for two weeks and see if it makes a difference. One of the points below will hit close to home — that’s the one to start with. Sometimes thinking about starting is harder than just starting. Just move and do one! So let’s get straight to it:
