Spiritual Mastery #1: Reacting to others
Four steps to grow from reactivity to purpose-driven
The overall principle for mastery (maturity) is to work on the inner man, not just the outer man:
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. Matthew 23:25–26

Spiritual Mastery Part 1: Reacting to others
To become mature we have to line up the outer man and the inner man — to not just show up and appear to be mature on the outside, but do the hard work on the inside. The more these are out of alignment, the less mature as a Christian we are.
Let’s get very specific and grade our inner man to see how it lines up with the outer man. The chart below is a tool help see if the inner man and out man are lined up, and four steps to reaching maturity.
