The losers in the faith chapter

We always read about the heroes but what about the losers in Hebrews 11?

We can read Hebrews 11 (the faith chapter) and mostly just remember the great heroic things that were accomplished through faith. There are some amazing things listed!

And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again. Hebrews 11:32–35 (NKJV)

These are people through faith subdued kingdoms, stopped the mouth of lions, put out fires, escaped from dying in battle, were made strong, became courageous in war, turned back armies, toppled the walls of Jericho, parted the Red Sea, and women receiving their children back to life after being dead. These are some pretty heroic feats! It’s possible we mostly associate the moving of mountains and doing great things when it comes to having faith. And the book of Hebrews lists many great things that were done in faith. But do you know it also lists those that were losers?
