Biden Transgender Care — Fox News — “ Federal appeals court bars Biden administration from forcing Catholic groups to provide transgender care… This is the second federal appeals court to block the Department of Health and Human Services from using Obamacare to mandate transgender medical care… The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit affirmed a lower court ruling in favor of the plaintiffs in Sisters of Mercy v. Becerra, a case concerning a coalition of Catholic groups who have challenged the Biden administration’s attempt to invoke the Affordable Care Act to prohibit doctors and hospitals from discriminating against transgender patients. The Catholic groups, which include hospitals, a university and nuns who run health clinics, say the Biden administration’s rule violates their free exercise of religion.”
Pagan Religious Views — The Washington Stand — “ Judge Halts Pro-life Law Because it Violates Pagans’ Religious Views… Marion County Superior Court Judge Heather Welch, a Democrat, issued an injunction against Indiana’s pro-life law, saying it violated the views of Hoosier Jews for Choice and five anonymous plaintiffs represented by the ACLU. Court documents describe the clients as a pagan, a Muslim, and three Jewish people. (Two of the Jewish litigants are women who “are married to each other … and their understanding of Judaism impacts and informs their lives.”)”
Human Rights Commissioner Resigns — CBN News — “ Human Rights Commissioner Resigns After Mocking God, Cursing Christians over Christmas Tree Debacle … Diane Loud, who was appointed to the Human Rights Commission in Dedham, Massachusetts, called God a “magic sky daddy” and cursed Christians after a local library manager complained about not being able to put up a Christmas tree display in their facility… Earlier this month, Endicott Branch Library drew national attention after its manager shared on Facebook that its annual Christmas tree display was canceled to avoid offending citizens.”
Pansexuality Poster — Fox News — “ High-ranking military official called to resign after targeting mom upset over pansexuality posters at school … A high-ranking U.S. military official was called on to resign Wednesday after he responded to a Facebook post by Angela Reading, a mother and member of the Northern Burlington Board of Education, flagging her to local police for exhibiting what he described as “safety concerns.”
Marriage Bill — Politico — “ Biden signs historic bill codifying same-sex and interracial marriage …A decade after he surprised the nation by publicly throwing his support behind same-sex marriage, President Joe Biden on Tuesday signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law at a White House ceremony — cementing his legacy as a champion of LGBTQ rights.”
