The Death of True Education: How We Lost Our Kids’ Souls to the Machine
Is today’s system of education worth it?
Imagine standing in Athens, 400 BC.
A young man studies under Plato.
His goal?
Become wise. Virtuous. Strong.
Now fast forward.
Your kid’s classroom, 2024.
Their goal? Pass tests. Get grades. Make money.
What happened?
We didn’t just lose education.
We lost our children’s souls.
Here’s the deadly shift:
Ancient Education:
- Built character
- Taught wisdom
- Formed virtues
- Prepared leaders
- Shaped souls
Modern Factory:
- Pushes paperwork
- Tests memory
- Builds resumes
- Prepares workers
- Shapes cogs
Our forefathers knew:
True education forms the whole person.
Body. Mind. Spirit.
Even the pagans got this right.
While we, with all our “progress,”
Lost the ancient wisdom.
Think About It:
Your great-grandfather read:
- Classical literature
- Ancient philosophy
- Sacred texts
Your child reads:
- Test prep guides
- Career manuals
- Social media
The Early Church preserved knowledge
through dark ages and persecution.
Medieval monks spent lifetimes copying wisdom for future generations.
Why?
They knew education wasn’t about making money.
It was about making men.
Real men.
Strong men.
Wise men.
The kind who:
- Lead families
- Build nations
- Fear God
- Stand firm
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverbs 1:7 KJV)
- Not test scores.
- Not college admissions.
- Not career paths.
Our ancestors understood:
A fool with facts
Is still a fool.
But modern education produces exactly that:
Well-informed fools.
The Solution?
Return to the ancient paths:
- Classical learning
- Moral formation
- Biblical wisdom
- Real education
Because here’s the truth:
Your child will become
what they’re taught to love.
Right now, they’re being taught
to love the system.
Time to choose:
Let them become:
- Another brick in the wall
- Another cog in the machine
- Another slave to the system
Or:
Train them to be:
- Leaders of tomorrow
- Defenders of truth
- Warriors for Christ
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6 KJV)
Not the way the world demands.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2 KJV)
Your move, parent.
They’re coming for your children’s minds.
Question is:
What are you going to do about it?
Time to decide.
