There are more than 170 museums and galleries in London. The themes vary so much that, when asked for recommendations, I can only choose one if you tell me your preferred genre or period.

The Courtauld Gallery, which we will visit in this article, is a first choice for fans of Impressionist paintings, as it is filled with Renoir, Manet, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Degas and so on. The gallery is a good size; you can see all the main exhibits in about two hours.

It was closed for refurbishment in 2018 and reopened in November 2021. The layout has also undergone significant changes. Today, I picked out some of the most gorgeous women from this gallery, full of other fascinating artworks. Please let me know which one you like the best!

The gallery was founded in 1932 from the collection of industrialist Samuel Courtauld (1876–1947). It is located in a corner of Somerset House, which houses government offices and cultural institutions.
