What Italian artwork do you like? Oil paintings like Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa? Statues such as Michelangelo’s David?

They are all masterpieces, and I love them, too. However, I also have a secret passion for frescoes, to which this article is dedicated. If you do not know much about fresco, please don’t worry. We will see what it is later in the article.

Speaking of frescoes, many may think of Michelangelo’s The Creation of Adam in the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, but this time, the setting is the Camposanto in Pisa, which is a cemetery. This place is also exciting from a historical point of view.

Before we move on to the main topic, when it comes to Pisa, I must show you this picture. This is the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Indeed, it’s leaning over. This happened because the ground on the south side was soft. Although corrective measures have been taken a few times, it is still tilted at 3.95 degrees. Thrill-seekers can climb the tower for a fee.
