Has the human race plateaued? A small thought for all of us.

Certainly now looking around us, is hard not to see a slowdown in all sciences, but why so?

We all live in a time where to be considered an “expert” in any given field (science, medicine, law, literature and more…), requires a considerable amount of time. The more specialized the field, the longer the time required and most of us would agree we are in the region of 10 years or so.

Unquestionably, the research, time and effort we have put in as a race made us progress dramatically but at what cost?

The price we paid is the lack of the big picture: hence why today we can send space rockets on Mars and break Atoms. Although we still struggle to replace a tooth.

This might sound a funny joke, but indeed it sums up of what we are capable today as humans. There is only so much one individual can focus on, and not necessarily that knowledge is usable in other fields.

Dear reader, what do you make of this? What’s your thoughts and the way forward for you?
