Biconomy Beta launch!

Our journey started off with a simple question — why is there low adoption in digital assets and DApps? After thorough research and surveys, we found there to be so many factors contributing to this with the user experience and developer experience taking the top spots.

As we dived deep into the UX rabbit hole we found there to be many friction points and horrible onboarding experience that developers aren’t able to solve to make dapps accessible for the end users.

We explored the idea of meta transactions and dug deeper to find that there are still yet not many viable solutions for developers to simply implement this in their DApp. Common pain points include changing smart contract code, building relayers, maintaining them, optimizing for gas, monitoring the system, enabling sound security measures, and more importantly the amount of work that has to go into deploying this in-house to simply enhance the UX.

With our vision in making next-generation blockchain applications simple to use, we started with a simple MVP in Q3 2019 (on Ropsten and Matic testnet), and eventually kicked off an alpha in Q4 2019 to test with the market. We built our platform from the ground up with an architecture that is blockchain agnostic.

With countless discussions, calls, research, demos, and iterations related to our product and integrations, we are proud to announce the release of our beta with 10 launch partners.

We are super excited to announce our launch partners and how they will be using meta transactions to enhance the overall user experience:

1. Matic Network: Matic is one of the most promising layer 2 solutions who has supported us since inception! They will be using Biconomy as the official relayer service partner in their upcoming protocol update.

2. Torus: An OAuth login provider for Web 3, will be using Biconomy’s relayer as a service to provide gasless services to their partner DApps. The demo shows the interaction of Biconomy’s relayers with contract wallets via a sample transfer of tokens.
3. Daostack: An innovative DAO and governance protocol. They will be integrating Biconomy to reduce complexities around interacting with DAOs. 4. Sapien Network: Seattle based social blogging platform with over 40k users, Sapien will be using Biconomy in their mainnet to provide a frictionless experience. https://github.com/SapienNetwork/MaticContracts/pull/1 You can also check the video demo here!
5. Dapp Pocket: One of the biggest Taiwanese based Dapp platforms, Dapp pocket will be using Biconomy for their new product Dappkits to provide a better user experience. You can also check the video demo here!
6. Zefi: Y Combinator backed digital bank Zefi will be using Biconomy in their backend to remove blockchain complexities for their users.
7. Alethea.ai: San Francisco based AI entertainment platform, Alethea is currently testing Biconomy in order to provide seamless user experience for its members.
8. Frontier Wallet: Frontier Wallet is one of the main Defi wallets in the space and has started integrating Biconomy to provide gasless transactions for every Defi transaction in their wallet!
9. Fortmatic: This SF based Login provider is known for creating magical Web 3 experiences! Biconomy will be working closely with Fortmatic to provide gasless transaction for Web 3 apps!
10. Idle Finance: New York-based Defi platform idle Finance, will be using Biconomy for their upcoming version 3 upgrade.
