It has become common knowledge that user experience in blockchain applications is very inferior when compared with traditional web 2 applications. A major part of bad user experience lies in the transaction journey. End users have to go through many hardships, both time consuming and expensive, before successfully submitting the transactions on blockchain. Biconomy is dedicated to simplifying the web 3 experiences by providing a plug and play transaction highway that helps in delivering secure, reliable and cheaper transactions.

We started off with Ethereum and EVM compatible chains such as Matic and xDai. Our product is already integrated with well known projects such as Curve Finance, Idle Finance, Frontier Wallet and as well as up and coming applications launching on Layer 2.

What’s next?

Today, we are extremely thrilled to expand our roots to initiate and pioneer the development of meta transactions on Tezos. We have recently proven on Etheruem how meta transactions can increase the number of users, increase user retention and overall, make the transaction and application seamless.

For us, this is an exciting endeavor and a significant milestone. Tezos will be one of the first Layer 1 chains we will be supporting with our relayer infrastructure which enables meta transactions. We are pumped to be building this infrastructure on Tezos as it will cut deployment time for developers building new apps and ease the user experience for new users interacting on a Tezos based application.

Why Tezos?

We like to call Tezos a sleeping giant and lots of potential due to a number of reasons such as its organic approach in building communities, innovative technical architecture and more importantly the traction it has gained when it comes to enterprise adoption and new DApp creation in its ecosystem.

As part of this project, we are planning to:

  1. Design relayer engines
  2. Write client side SDK code starting in javascript to enable developers to easily and quickly deploy meta transactions
  3. Batch multiple transactions into a single transaction to save gas fees
  4. And much more!

We are confident that we will have an exponential impact on the Tezos ecosystem and we are looking forward to generating a lot of developer collaterals and education materials that would be instrumental in increasing the developer activity on Tezos.

Why this is Mutually beneficial ?

By integrating Biconomy’s relayer infrastructure with the Tezos ecosystem, we can help save developers up to 3 months of development time by providing a plug and play infrastructure stack so that developers can fully focus on their end product. In addition, we will work with the core protocol team to identify value-add opportunities for different stakeholders in the ecosystem, such as validators and emerging wallets.

In addition, the emerging Tezos developer community will be able to battle-test Biconomy’s blockchain agnostic infrastructure and inspire future opportunities to allow interoperability across multiple Layer 1 Blockchains.

We call out to developers interested to work/integrate with Biconomy to reach out to us in our Discord and Telegram channels.

About Biconomy:

At Biconomy, our mission is to make next-generation technologies simple to use. We are building a smart relayer infrastructure network for blockchain transactions that reduces the friction between applications built on the blockchain and the end-users. Biconomy’s relayer network comprises a suite of SDKs and APIs that simplify the DApp development process for developers as well as abstracting many of the blockchain complexities, vastly enhancing the end-user experience for DApps and wallets.
