The day Alicia, winner of Valentine´s Day´s sweepstake, fell in love with Paris
As many of you will remember, on February we launched a contest for Valentine´s Day. The prize? A hotel night in any part of the world. The winner was Alicia and she chose to go with her boyfriend to Paris, the city of love. A term that suits this young couple perfectly, that judging by the photos, they had a whale of a time. Their trip to the city was already arranged, but thanks to Alicia´s victory, they could extend their stay a little bit longer.
The trip took place some days ago and, according to Alicia, “everything was perfect. We enjoyed the city, we visited the most popular monuments like the Eiffel Tower, we went to the Louvre museum and also the Notre Dame Cathedral”. Both her and her boyfriend highlighted that what they liked the most of Paris was the Montmartre district. They loved the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and watching how painters unleashed their art.
Lastly, and as an anecdote, Alicia told us that they had to extend their trip two more days, because, due to airline strikes, they couldn´t return home the day they planned to do so. The winner confessed “it was the perfect excuse to enjoy and live the city two more days”.
