Substrate 2.0 has been iterated to RC4 and will be released soon. 2.0 stable version now. Every time Substrate does a new code merge, some new features are discovered, and the feature iteration is fast. For example, the private key friend retrieval feature, which can be used on the polkadot, is also integrated into Bifrost’s functionality.

Bifrost Ecosystem
- On July 10, Bifrost was invited to participate in the 22nd Liantuan AMA to discuss how Bifrost can help the Staking & Defi ecosystem with across chains Technology.
The AMA discussed Bifrost’s plan after connecting to Polkadot parachain, DeFi topic on Polkadot ecosystem, and recent hot DeFi liquid mining topic.
- Accelerate the deployment of the two major tutorials of BNC wallet creation tutorial and node generalization before Asgard CC2 is officially launched. Before July 17th, a two-way cross-chain tutorial from Validator to EOS Jungle Testnet to Bifrost Asgard will also be deployed.
- This week began to actively participate in the construction of the Polkadot ecology, and translated the Wiki Treasury document to help Chinese Polkadot enthusiasts understand the proposal and tipping system. What is Bifrost ?
Bifrost is the DeFi project for PoS tokens, that include staking and liquidity both. It allows to get vToken for operations and delivering liqidity, plus you got staking rewards all the time your DOT, KSM,EOS or other token blocked by the smart-contract. You get reward from the Day 1 of nomination, without locking periods and can change your, for example, vKSM for KSM any time. BNC is the native token of Bifrost.
vToken can optimize transactions in multiple scenarios such as DeFi, Dapp, DEX, etc. When vToken is used as a collateral for lending, its staking income can offset part of the interest and realize low-interest borrowing.
With vToken you can hedge the risk of locked positions, DeFi & Staking double rewards and leverage Staking and other application scenarios.
