You don’t need to watch another inspirational video, read another book, have another brainstorming session, or write another to-do list. But in reality, we often rely on these things to build ourselves up after a setback. What you truly need is to work on efficient preparation skills so that you can face obstacles without letting them defeat you.

See it this way: Traveling on a road by car is easy, but it gets hard as soon as you smash through the jungle with a machete being the first person creating a pathway. For that jungle trip, you need preparation. You need to understand what’s ahead of you so that you can prepare properly. You need to know what obstacles you will most likely face and how to handle them.
