BigBang Core (BBC) is a recently launched project that has been 3 years in the making. The project itself focuses on utilizing blockchain technology to secure Internet-Of-Things (IOT) security issues.
The concept of integrating blockchain and IOT technology has been proven feasible in real world application. BBC’s technology has been applied on a carbon emission indicator test conducted by a Hangzhou company. Data is first collected by the IOT devices in the system, which then is sent to be arranged and sanitized before being converted into a single blockchain transaction form.
The transaction is then sent via AWS IOT Core to be recorded in the Big Bang Chain so that the data value cannot be tampered with.
BigBang Core is currently discussing partnerships to further enhance the utility of its technology and bring meaningful value to our daily lives. With more clients joining the fold, BBC envisions a world where their technology can improve IOT device and data security, performing key functions to improve structural integrity of data transmission.
BigBang Core Chain is based upon the Cryptonight algorithm and is modified to be ASIC and GPU resistant. Coupled with the fact that there are no pre-mined coins, BBC’s coin eco system seeks equality and true decentralization.
Employing a Proof-Of-Stake (POS) and Proof-Of-Work (POW) consensus that only accepts hashing power from CPU cores, BBC chain seeks to balance out the reward system to ensure fairness in rewards distribution. Everyone can participate in the BBC mining rewards and this in turn prevents the hashrate system from being centralized. BBC’s main net has been launched (bbcnet.io) and is now live, with thousands of miners contributing to the security of the chain.
Currently BBC coin is listed on Webit (webit.one) and Bision (bision.com) exchanges, with upcoming listings to be announced closer to the dates.
