In April we announced the release of BigCommerce Shipping, a complete shipping and fulfillment experience. BC Shipping lets you offer the best rates and shipping options that fit your business and provide accurate and dynamic in-cart rates to your customers.
We’re also seeking participants and feedback for a beta, and have added new features to offer added security for customer passwords.
BigCommerce Platform Updates, April 2019
- Now available: BigCommerce Shipping — BigCommerce Shipping allows you to display accurate real-time rates to customers, print shipping labels, configure shipping rules and more — all from within the BigCommerce Control Panel. Learn more.
- Product update: Complex password requirements — Merchants can now enforce complex password requirements for shoppers. Learn more.
- Beta: Automated Sales Tax Calculation for EU and UK — Automated sales tax calculations will soon be available for the United Kingdom and EU member states via Avalara Avatax. This feature builds on top of the sales tax support we already provide today within the US and Canada. To support this launch we are looking for merchants in the UK and in EU member states to gain early access as beta testers! Learn more.
