BigCommerce Platform Updates, August 2021
- PayPal Improvements: Added support for Venmo in PayPal for US merchants & Pay in 4 for AU merchants. US merchants will be able to add a digital wallet to checkout with strong brand recognition for shoppers.
- 9 Free BigCommerce Apps for Every Merchant: We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite free apps (or apps with awesome free plans) that help our merchants grow their business to strengthen brand loyalty and support their favorite charities through social giving.
- Auto Migration to Transactional Emails: On September 9th, we will start migrating stores from our legacy Blueprint Email Templates to Transactional Emails. The first group will consist of stores where no changes have been made to their email templates. No action is required on your end.
- Manage Your Store Status from Channel Manager: Merchants and store admin are now able to manage their store status from the Channel Manager area of the control panel rather than store settings.
BigCommerce Beta Opportunities, August 2021
- Bolt One Click Checkout: Be the first to access an embedded version of Bolt One Click, a checkout solution that enables shoppers to speed through checkout with a single click. Installation is seamless and there’s no need to completely replace your existing BigCommerce checkout. Beta participants will have access to Bolt One Click at no additional cost during the beta period.
- Customer Data Platform Segment.com (Open Beta): Segment.com is a Customer Data Platform (CDP) that provides the customer data infrastructure that helps businesses put their customers first. Using Segment, companies can collect, unify and connect their first-party data to over 200 marketing, analytics, and data warehouse tools.
