This June, BigCommerce launched its integration with Affirm, a new payment plan option for customers. We’ve also added Bolt to our Marketplace. Bolt’s checkout app offers a new frictionless checkout experience for shoppers. We’re also announcing the deprecation of our USPS and UPS real-time shipping quote integrations. BigCommerce is also now accepting participants for our Android app beta program.
BigCommerce Platform Updates, June 2019
- Now Available: Affirm Payment Plans — BigCommerce now integrates directly with Affirm, a “buy now, pay later” payment method available to US-based merchants. Affirm offers customers more flexibility at checkout and can increase customer loyalty and improve conversion rates. This payment method also allows merchants to accept “Authorize only” payments and can be displayed conditionally based on a minimum order total. Learn more.
- App Now Available: Bolt — The Bolt checkout app delivers a frictionless checkout experience to shoppers by removing extraneous fields, which results in less clicks to complete checkout. The app offers two custom checkout experiences: one for guests and one for returning customers. Learn more.
- Now in Beta: BC mobile app — BigCommerce is seeking 40–50 participants that meet certain criteria to test a forthcoming Android BigCommerce mobile app. Learn more.
- Announcement: Removing legacy USPS and UPS real-time shipping quotes — On September 30, 2019, BigCommerce will remove our legacy USPS and UPS real-time shipping quote integrations. Learn more.
